IVF Specialist

IVF or In Vitro Fertilization is very quickly becoming the most popular fertility treatment in the world. Only just a short time ago, IVF was thought of as the very final step fertility treatment if a woman had blocked fallopian tubes. In the early 1990′s the process called ICSI did something to revolutionize the treatment of IVF that was due to low sperm count. Immediately IVF became the treatment of choice for male factor infertility. IVF since then has been successfully used for almost every type of infertility issue. Couples with fertility problems choose IVF as a “first option” or treatment today because the pregnancy rate is higher than with other more conservative treatments.

It is obvious that IVF is a very complex procedure or treatment and should only be performed by doctors who are specially trained for this medical field of In Vitro Fertilization. These doctors are first trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and they then receive three additional years of training in IVF. They are then given the title “Reproductive Endocrinologist” or “Mexican Board Certified IVF Specialist”.

Dr. Adan Oliveros Ceballos is the Director of the “Institute of Human Reproduction” at the Galenia Hospital in Cancun, Quintana Roo.He is double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Collegue Gynecology and Obstetrics Mexicano.

Dr. Adan Oliveros participates in a number of research projects and scientific publications and has received numerous awards in teaching and has been honored as “Top IVF Doctor” in Mexico for several years. He speaks nationally and locally on many topics of Assisted Reproduction.
