The gastric sleeve procedure is also know as gastric sleeve resection, sleeve gastrectomy, vertical sleeve gastrectromy, tube gastrectomy and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. How does it work?

Traditionally this weight loss procedure has first been performed in Europe as a first stage on severely obese patients.
